+Wanda Wix began life as Georgia Rolfe, a human programmer/engineer in a high-tech world. She spent her career creating all manner of technology for innovative startups, only to inevitably have credit for her inventions stolen by CEOs, and for the companies she helped succeed expand into soulless corporations that misused her creations and exploited people. Frustrated and stymied at every turn (and having her career stagnate because she kept leaving workplaces as they turned evil), Georgia was still working feverishly in her old age when her most recent creation, a prototype artificial gravity drive, exploded and vaporized her.
+To her great surprise, Georgia found herself being born into a new low-tech high-magic world as a peasant boy named Riand. Riand was the illegitimate son of a baron and his serving wench, and as soon as he made an appearance, the baron's wife cast the wench out of their home and Riand found himself in an orphanage, forbidden from learning to read and raised to be a rentable labourer.
+Fortunately, Riand retained Georgia's mastery of reading and writing a language that no one else in this world could speak - and, more importantly, he still had Georgia's understanding of rigorous scientific experimentation and documentation. Very quickly, he learned the basics of this world's magic, and began developing magical devices that no one else could understand or replicate. He used these devices to buy his way out of servitude and to make a comfortable life for his new mother.
+Reasoning that the artificial gravity generator must have somehow linked different dimensions, Riand eventually was able to create a portal that allowed him access to both worlds, and to many other universes as well. He also created a ring that would allow him to instantaneously transition back to his original birth sex, and, rather than reasserting "Georgia", called him/herself "Wanda Wix"... although Wanda did not go public with her persona or her new products until she turned eighteen for the second time.
+What Wanda had learned from dealing with autocratic bullying in two different worlds was that the one thing theocratic monarchies and bureaucratic oligarchies agreed upon was that sexual pleasure (that doesn't result in the creation of nuclear family units) is icky and bad. Thus, Wanda Wix created [[wandafunk|Wandafunk Technologies]], a company that creates and sells magnificent sex toys across the multiverse (specifically, magical sex toys to non-magic worlds and technological sex toys to non-tech worlds).
+Wanda makes a point of exclusively marketing all of her products and services as sexual in nature (even products that would, in theory, be far more useful in non-sexual applications), and she enthusiastically stars in all the pornographic demonstrations of her handiwork. Although her products use sophisticated magic and technology, they come reinforced with wards and dimensional stabilizers that allow them to function properly in any setting... until some would-be reverse engineer tries to take them apart, at which point they inevitably stop working.
+Wanda is happy to sell (or even, in particularly bland or repressed worlds, to donate) her sexual goodies to anyone who will use them ethically. She makes no secret of the fact that she tests her own goods on herself, and a significant portion of Wandafunk's income comes from selling the pornography Wanda makes of herself demonstrating the use of her devices with a variety of partners.
